Residencies

G3S2 has an extremely competitive residency program.  Unlike most corporate internships, 25 percent of our organizational purpose and energy goes toward producing quality professionals that will stay committed to the G3S2 network for life – no matter what your future career plans are.  The quality and effectiveness of our business is innately tied to the success of our network partners.  Once you make the cut, we consider you some of our most valued assets.  Our residencies differ from our short term intern program in the following manner:

Residencies Include:

-     1 – 2 year positions

-      housing provided

-      board 4 days a week provided

-      two, 30 day field deployments with a G3S2 partner and Subject Matter Expert ( $20,000 )

-      $10,000 a year stipend

-      training manuals and required reading list provided

We believe it is important for people to have “skin in the game” in order to fully appreciate the value of opportunities before them.  With this in mind, we require residents to raise a minimum of $4000 toward G3S2′s Humanity 4 Humanitarians campaign.

We have worked very hard to put everything in place for you to be fully invested in this experience… physically, intellectually, emotionally and financially.  The rest is up to you!

The objective of the Internship Program is threefold:

  • to provide a framework by which professionals interested in expanding their skills and capabilities, may find long term placement within the G3S2 network.
  • to expose them to life and work outside of traditional job markets and provide them with the critical thinking skills that will allow them to stand out and above their peers, personally and professionally.
  • to keep the G3S2 network fresh with highly qualified, genuinely committed individuals with gifts and interests in various professional fields.

We only accept between 3 and 5 interns per placement class.  Phase 1 application forms may be completed by clicking here.

In addition to mentor assignment, G3S2 also provides residents with on-site housing, occasional weekend activities, meals, career seminars, resume revision and interview coaching.

If you can find another company or organization to offer you the same quality program, train you in multinational, multi-cultural, geo-political, socio-economic trouble shooting skills, critical thinking strategies during crisis, global logistics and assist you in job placement upon program completion – then go for it!

If you think you have what it takes, we want to hear from you.
