What are you doing this summer!? Greater Good Global Support Services (G3S2) might have a really good option for you... or for one of your friends!
Some of our best stories are of people who learn about G3S2 and then think of "the perfect person" to introduce to G3S2. If that person is you, then great! But what's G3S2 all about?
Simply put... G3S2 both supports the greater good around the world AND AT THE SAME TIME trains people for the greater good. When someone joins G3S2 for the summer as an intern, you're brought right into the middle of interacting with and supporting people around the planet who deserve all the help we can give them. Why?
We help support people who are doing great things... greater good stuff... like disaster relief, working with orphanages, poverty relief, education and religious freedom initiatives, and other types of work we call greater good.

G3S2 has only been around since 2003, but the founders, Matt & Miriam Wallace, have been doing this kind of work for much longer and have worked with many, many interns over the years. Internships are an intense "living-it-24/7" kind of thing. You'll be trained on a broad spectrum. Training Subjects And while interns won't be trained on everything in this list, the Real World Situations that interns encounter during the course of the summer help shape what parts of this training list are covered.
Past Interns from 2005 and 2006 have agreed that G3S2 was life changing on many levels... providing a significantly expanded view of the world and the challenges faced when working cross-culturally and across multiple time-zones. It's hard to explain, so if you have many questions, don't be afraid to ask them. But in the end, G3S2 is looking for motivated, hard-working people who want to engage the world through the unique opportunities that G3S2 can provide.
